Here a little presentation about the loft...
Wortegem - Petegem - At young age, Patrick was already a pigeon lover. He already
built a little pigeon loft at young age. When Patrick married, he fastly found a
cosy little house in the Pontstreet in Wortegem - Petegem, in the same village where
Patrick grew up. Early '90s, Patrick moved to the Waregemseweg, also in Wortegem
- Petegem. Soon it became clear that the youngest son of 3 children, Dimitri, also
became a pigeon lover.
The pigeon sport became for both their aim of live. They wanted to reach the top
in pigeon sport. But the needed support. So the visited great champions like Willeqeut
(Kluisbergen), Vandenabeele (Dentergem), and since several years the met also the
sort of the 'Gullit' of Desmet - Mathijs (Nokere) The 'Gullit' descends from the
old sort of Patrick Houfflijn. With such a first-class pigeon racers, the booked
very good results year after year. In the season of 2006, the where qualified 3 times
in the National championships K.B.D.B. second general champion, Second champion long
distance and fourth Ace Pigeon long distance. The where also good for 16 times top
100 National. One achievement record to be proud of !
